I cover all the North Shore areas in Chicago including surrounding suburbs. I paint portraits , murals and trompe l'oeil artworks featured in "Feast the Eye, Fool the Eye" and "Visual Deceptions" I will paint your poratrait , mural or other work at my studio or your location. The work can be "wallpapered" in place, or mounted so that it can be moved later if needed. I design and paint each mural individually for each client. There is no "stock" designs, no work parceled out to assistants.

Artist Oksana paints murals directly onto walls. Paints used are acrylic or water-based. Some faux finishes require oil base stains or glazes. The average execution takes approximately 10 to 14 days. Painting styles are primarily: trompe l'oeil (fool the eye), architectural, floral and photo realism. These techniques are used in order to create the customized illusion and atmosphere which opens a space. She covers the greater area of chicago and northern illinois.

Artist Oksana offers custom paintings on canvas, trompe l'oeil, and wood graining. You can commission anything from a portrait to a photo-realistic painting captured from a photograph. Oksana also specializes in trompe l'oeil which means 'to fool the eye.' This unique talent allows her to be able to recreate several different textures, grains, surfaces, and shadows to 'fool the eye' into thinking that a false ledge really exists or that false molding is really in place. Newsflash 2 Painting murals is much different from painting smaller works. A person is completely overwhelmed and absorbed by the painting itself. Much like those who do large scale sculpture who I've talked with, the scale of the work makes me think of myself more as a illustionist than an artist. Painting murals is somewhere between fine art and house painting. It's hard to get too snooty when you're up several stories on a scaffold with the wind blowing twenty-five miles per hour, covered in paint and eating lunch out of a paper bag.
